Rules

In order to host a SuperSeries tournament, the host city MUST adhere to EACH of the following rules in order to ensure continued success of this tournament while maintaining the SuperSeries mission and goals
 
Format
 
·         Minimum of 6 games (exception - U15 age group will do 5 games), 15-17 min periods. Each host city can decide on the game length of 15 or 17 min periods. 
·         Standard practice is 4 games at 17 min periods (first 2 days of the tournament) and 2 games at 15 min periods on the last day to ensure games are completed by early afternoon to catch flights.
·         Maintain a tournament atmosphere with a flexible format (see format section)
·         Last games must end NLT then 5pm.
 
Costs
 
·         Maximum $275/game per team ($1650 for 6 game tourney) - This is the total amount and includes all costs associated with ice, referees, scorekeeper, medals, website, game management (stats) and administration.*
 
Mandatory Requirements 
 
·         Each hosting team MUST commit to a minimum of two (2) additional SuperSeries tourneys outside of their own.EXCEPTION - Pee Wee and Bantam Major only need to commit to one (1) additional SuperSeries outside of their own. 
·         Publish “Draft” schedule well in advance of the tournament to ensure all participating teams can book flights.
·         Games must end prior to 5pm in order to book flights.
·         The SuperSeries falls under USA Hockey. ONLY Teams with legitimate T1 rosters (including added or deleted players) are allowed to participate.
·         Ice clean every 2 periods for Bantam Minor and above.  See Format section for format template.
·         All host cities MUST use Sport NGIN Live to compute game sheets and statistics.  This can either be Live during the game or Post game. All host cities must assign a scorekeeper who will be trained by TST Media (45 min tutorial) before the tournament. 
·         All players and coaches must be registered with USA Hockey for insurance purposes. 
 
 
 
*some tournaments may be slightly more due to the higher cost of ice
