COVID-19 Refund Policy

Event Cancelation

If Superseries is prevented by circumstances outside of its control from hosting an event due to a restriction on sports imposed by emergency governmental order or if SuperSeries cancels an event in its sole discretion, all teams registered to play will receive a full refund of all registration fees paid to SuperSeries. Refunds will be paid in the same form of payment that was made by the team. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancelation of the event. Credit cards will be refunded the full amount, minus the processing fee.

Travel Bans

Teams will be refunded or allowed to apply funds to another event if they are subjected to a "travel ban" that prohibits the team from traveling to the state the event is taking place. A travel advisory would be subject to our normal refund policy.

Team Drops More Than 60 Days before an Event

If a team needs to drop out of an event, it may do so for any reason up to 60 days prior to the first day of the tournament and will receive a full refund. Refunds are typically issued within 30 days of the request by the team.

Team Drops 15-29 Days Out

If a team is forced to drop out of an event, due to a player on the team being exposed to COVID-19, resulting in the rest of the team needing to remain in quarantine and that quarantine period cannot be safely completed before the event and the refund request is made by the team MORE than 15 days, but less than 30 days prior to the start of the event, SuperSeries will provide that team with a credit for the full amount of the registration fee that can be used towards a future SuperSeries event. This credit may be used any time during the 2020-2021 or 2021-2022 seasons.

Team Drops Less Than 15 Days Out

If a team is forced to drop out of an event, due to a player on the team being exposed to COVID-19, resulting in the rest of the team needing to remain in quarantine and that quarantine period cannot be safely completed before the event and the refund request is made by the team LESS than 15 days prior to the start of the event, SuperSeries will issue a credit of the registration fee, less a $500 fee to cover expenses SuperSeries will have already paid for on behalf of the team scheduled participation in the event (e.g., if a team pays an $1850 registration fee, they will receive a credit of $1350. This credit can be applied towards a future SuperSeries event and may be used any time during the 2020-2021 or 2021-2022 seasons).
